Outcast kids form their own football team to compete with the one that rejected them. The movie fumbles when it sends contrived messages about sibling rivalry (Rick Moranis and Ed O'Neill play brothers who coach the opposing teams). It scores when some NFL all-stars give the team a private lesson, but basically Little Giants is, as a character puts it, ''just air and pig intestines.''
