If Tim Burton ever makes a film about the worst director of the '80s and '90s, it'll be called Albert Pyun and it'll look like a home instructional video for small-business investors. The prolific and visionless Pyun (Dollman, Alien From L.A.) strikes again with Hong Kong '97, an endless tale of espionage set against Hong Kong's future acquisition by the People's Republic of China, when it will presumably become a lot more difficult to film there. This plotless wonder mainly involves government agents running around in search of an ending, with constant shoot-outs that wouldn't exist if Pyun hadn't gotten a good deal on squibs.
