Barbra: The Concert (1994)

If you buy Barbra: The Concert, a document of the diva's megatour, at your local mom-and-pop video store, you'll get exactly what you'd expect — a carefully crafted concert film with Streisand singing her heart out at various arenas. Buy it at Blockbuster, however, and you also get an additional post-credits performance of ''What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?'' — a deal that's caused something of a tizzy in the video-retailing world. Does it really matter which version you pick? For the Streisand purist, perhaps, but the more casual viewer is likely to find either tape appallingly overripe.
