On the ex-Chili Pepper guitarist's eccentric solo debut, we're treated to hauntingly lovely guitar and keyboard melodies, childlike vocals, bizarre sound effects, and disquieting lyrics. There's a fine line between brilliant and unlistenable, and Frusciante squarely straddles it here. B-
