Just Who the Hell Is She, Anyway? Marisa Acocella (Harmony Books, $20) You know the graphic novel has entered the mainstream when an exec knocks one off in her spare time and lands a book deal. Just who the hell is she? Acocella was a senior vice president at Young & Rubicam whose cartoon, SHE, ran in Mirabella for nearly two years. SHE is a 30ish former suburban girl who wanted to be the Mary Tyler Moore of the '80s but ends up as a white-collar drone in the '90s. Acocella has created a tartly funny if frivolous character, but when she's not drawing chic women, her iffy draftsmanship has a way of derailing her story. B+ -Margot Mifflin
