Throw together Julia Roberts, camels, a National Geographic shutterbug, and sumptuous outback vistas and what have you got? Though it sounds suspiciously like an Australian version of The Bridges of Madison County, it's actually Tracks, a movie based on the trek of Robyn Davidson, who traveled across the outback on a camel in 1978. Roberts is negotiating to star in the $30 million Disney epic, which Michael Apted will direct. Besides her own account, Davidson's journey has already inspired a coffee-table book and CD-ROM, From Alice to Ocean, by photographer Rick Smolan, who visited her on part of the trip.
