The jacket-copy comparisons to Hitchcock and De Palma are a laughable come-on considering the dreariness of this made-in-New Zealand ''thriller,'' Jack Be Nimble. Arquette and Kennedy play abandoned siblings separated as young children who reunite as troubled teens. Psychic Dora (Kennedy) senses when her brother's in danger, while psycho Jack (Arquette) can make people kill themselves by hypnotizing them. A lot of angst, along with four weird adopted sisters hell-bent on revenge, leads to a dark denouement that actually does recall a (very) poor man's Carrie. Getting there, however, isn't half the fun. C
