Plotting: After homering with 1988's Bull Durham, PC soul-mates Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins will team up again in Dead Man Walking. Robbins will write and direct the drama, based on a true story, about a nun (Sarandon) who counsels a death-row inmat/e (Sean Penn). Prepping: Kiefer Sutherland and Laurence Fishburne may cross paths in the Sidney Lumet drama Double Cross. Sutherland will reportedly play a racist, accused of bombing a church, who's defended by a black lawyer (Fishburne). Shooting: Caan as a con? James Caan portrays a dubious role model to three teens ineptly pursuing a life of crime in Bottle Rocket. The comedy, now filming in Dallas, also stars brothers Owen and Luke Wilson and their cousin Bob Musgrave as the youths. Bottle will break in '95.
