Old Wave (1994)

If you were told that Old Wave consists of lackluster performances by guitarists Joe Walsh and Waddy Wachtel, that it includes the worst version ever of Doug Sahm's great ''She's About a Mover,'' and that poor old Ringo Starr sounds throughout as if he needed a week of sleep followed by a gallon of coffee, you wouldn't wonder why this 1983 album is only now receiving its first American release; you'd wonder why it was ever released in the first place.
