Gridders

When, oh, when will we start seeing more games for 3DO that not only look and sound terrific but are fun to play? Gridders is a perfect example of how the fledgling system has become overly impressed while forgetting altogether about impressing consumers. This geometric puzzle game, in which you have to maneuver your way through a series of twisty mazes filled with tumbling, life-size, three-dimensional cubes, features some oh-wow graphics, but once you get past the unique perspective you realize you're playing something that's far less addictive (and far harder to understand) than Tetris.
