Sorceress (1994)

There's so much going on in Sorceress' pre-credit sequence that the rest of the film feels like Sorceress II, but it's all just a forewarning of the chaotic plot that follows. Larry Poindexter stars as a nebbish attorney who accidentally tosses his literal witch of a wife (Julie Strain) off a balcony. In what's virtually another film, witchy Linda Blair uses her own black magic to inspire kinky and murderous thoughts in the guy's new love interest. But for all its bad acting and incompetent plotting, the movie ultimately passes for good lowbrow fun, especially when compared with some of the other dreck Blair fans have had to endure. B
