A simple concept gets all screwed up in the execution, as an intrusive prologue conveniently saves viewers of A Passion To Kill valuable time that might otherwise have been spent anticipating plot twists. Scott Bakula makes a bad career move playing a typically hunky psychiatrist who gets involved with his best pal's enigmatic new wife. And while there's some fun in watching an above-average cast going through the low-budget motions, the film seems less like an erotic thriller than a plodding movie of the week about homicidal maniacs and the men who love them.
