The Worst

1. All tribute albums (various labels) except If I Were a Carpenter. Be it Van Morrison, Black Sabbath, or Kiss, we're tired of hearing the originals, too — but not enough to replace them with limp remakes.

2. Live at the Acropolis Yanni (Private Music) Symphonic glop that defines the expression "It's Greek to me."

3. Duets II Frank Sinatra (Capitol) A frog-voiced legend paired with all-wet noodles like Jimmy Buffett and Steve and Eydie? Sounds like a joke, but this unnecessary sequel was stone-faced serious.

4. We Come Strapped MC Eiht Featuring CMW (Epic Street) With its slack beats and hateful songs, this is the first (unintentional) self-parody gangsta-rap album — and, depressingly, it was top 5 to boot.

5. Symphonic Music of the Rolling Stones The London Symphony Orchestra (RCA) Speaks for itself, doesn't it?
