This delightful Webby-winner presents 22 gizmos, contraptions, and knickknacks featured in an exhibit at the J. Paul Getty Museum. The show is long gone, but online visitors can still marvel at Flash files capturing the magic of the thaumatrope, the choreutoscope, the Portable Diorama, Indonesian Shadow Puppets, Antonio Diavolo Acrobatic Automaton, and Thomas Edison's 1902 short Facial Expression.
