Blue Funk is loaded with Heavy D & the Boyz's trademark R&B-flavored, pop-tinged raps. But Heavster has added a healthy dose of dancehall rhythms, some tougher beats, and introspective spoken-word segues — making this disc funky, enjoyable, and, well, heavier. B+
