A generic video-friendly title masks one strange hybrid, a didactic Middle East political thriller combined with a straight-ahead documentary. But it's hard to say what makes Double Edge more amateurish: the Ginsu editing, Dunaway's crudely incorporated interviews with key figures in the Arab-Israeli conflict, or writer-coproducer-director Kollek's somnambulant performance.
