Presumably, Frankie's House offers guitar wonk Jeff Beck the chance to prove that he's a deeper, more melodic musician than his last few projects have indicated. So what does he do? He and cowriter Jed Leiber borrow their few themes from Peter Gabriel and Led Zeppelin, as Beck rips through some pretty predictable blues-fusion and noodles aimlessly through the rest. D
