APPEALING: In the movie version of John Grisham's The Firm, Tom Cruise's law partners engage in some risky business — money laundering — in the Cayman Islands. The Caribbean hot spot is now asking Paramount Pictures to put a disclaimer at the end of the July release. ''The government here has taken a lot of pains to see that all business here is legitimate,'' says Timothy Hubbell, the islands' deputy director of tourism. ''I can assure you the Cayman Islands are not as they are depicted in the book.'' A Paramount spokesman says the studio is considering the request.
