Newcomer Joy White is a worthy entry in the ''New Ronstadt'' sweepstakes, displaying a sassy voice and a hint of bad-girl spunk. She particularly shines when the tempo picks up (''Hey Hey Mama'') and is only occasionally dragged down by middling material. A promising wailer who's alive on Between Midnight & Hindsight's arrival. B+
