Lead Performance: P.M. Dawn
--
This staccato and nonmelodic single comes, surprisingly, from the guys who put the b in bliss. A strident shout-out against selling out, the song makes it seem as if Prince Be is tired of being a critic's (i.e., white) fave and yearns to be down with the boyz. Neither street nor arty, P.M. Dawn's Plastic falls somewhere in between. B
