Japan's most adorable music export, Shonen Knife, delivers bright, shiny tunes and whimsical lyrics about candy bars, cleansers, and Barbie dolls in English. The perky female trio's charm and instrumental variety (Ramonesy punk, twangy surf-rock, girl-group pop) have their limits, however, and Let's Knife is a sweet treat that can be cloying. B
