The Moon Seven Times (1993)

EW's GRADE
B+

Details Lead Performance: The Moon Seven Times; Genre: Rock

This moody quartet conjures up a sweeping sound, fit for gazing into a reflecting pool. With melodies as airy as the mist, minimal guitars that ebb like ripples in a pond, and vocals that gently lull, their dreamy debut The Moon Seven Times sounds like The Cure's ''A Forest'' if Everything But the Girl's Tracey Thorn were at the helm. B+
