These unpretentious indie-rock ramblers build their alternative rock on folk roots of the '60s: Dylan, San Francisco psychedelia, and Buffalo Springfield. Magnetic Home, the Austin quartet's fourth album, has energy, charm, and memorable songs, but its one-take ambience doesn't suit long journeys.
