With 10 songwriters and eight producers, '60s survivor David Crosby's third solo album resembles a Jerry Lewis telethon, full of generous pledges from VH-1 royalty like Phil Collins and Joni Mitchell. All stress the Cros' dreamy spiritual side at the expense of any memorable peaks, but the most clear-eyed testimonial is the guest of honor's own spunky title tune, where he reasons, ''It's probably enough that I was laughing today.'' A few more good hooks wouldn't hurt either.
