Rude ''Runner''

Deleted Shots: ''Blade Runner'' -- A breakdown of some of the removed scenes from the trippy Ridley Scott film

Who says bloodier is better? Not Ridley Scott, who objected to the gory moments that were reinserted into the unrated Blade Runner released on cassette and disc — and which is still widley available. Orginally trimmed so the film would get an R rating, these grisly shots won't be found in the new, slightly shorter, director's cut. Here's how the more graphic elements decrease the peace:

Pokier: Replicant Hauer gouges out the eyes of his maker (Joe Turkel)

Nosier: Replicant Daryl Hannah not only conks Ford's noggin...she also gives him a tweaking during their brutal gymnastic tussle

Gustier: Hannah writhes and bleeds long after sge's shot
