AIMEE MANN Whatever (Imago) Will wonders never cease? A good album from former 'Til Tuesday chanteuse Aimee Mann seemed about as likely an event as Judy Collins' going hip-hop. Yet here 'tis, replete with hooky songs, engaging folk-rock arrangements, and evocative lyrics: 13 tunes-many credited to Mann alone-that stick to your ribs. Let's hear it for long sabbaticals.
