Michael Doucet & Beausoleil Bayou Deluxe: The Best of Michael Doucet & Beausoleil (Rhino) Beausoleil, led by fiddler Doucet, may be America's best Cajun band-but that doesn't mean they're boring traditionalists. As heard on this jumping bean of an anthology, they're not afraid to spice up French-sung waltzes and two-steps with the occasional electric guitar or big beat, and yet they retain Cajun music's elegance.
