Good Times Drew First, but MPI Vidoe wins the showdown this week: In its second week in stores , MPI's ''producer's Cut'' of the John Wayne western McLintock! blows GoodTimes' competing version of the top 10, where it had been for three weeks. With companies arguing over rights to the 1963 film, the bad publicity surrounding GoodTimes' initial shipment of an inferior version may have pushed retailers to MPI, whose edition has been sanctioned by the Wayne estate. Ironically, coverage of the controversy in the trde press has given the otherwise unremarkable title an unexpected boost. After all the Duke always liked a good fight.
