MON ONCLE D'AMERIQUE Gerard Depardieu, Nicole Garcia (1980, New Yorker, unrated, subtitled, $79.95) Dense as a forest thicket, Alain Resnais' cerebral , circus employs both the presence and theories of Dr. Henri Laborit, the biologist famous for his experiments revealing the sources of aggression in mammals. Resnais uses three lab rats of the human variety and holds them up to empirical scrutiny. The point is that we are all governed by the same needs and drives-hardly news-and the film is like one long day in school. C+ -LO'T
