Women's Hormones: Myth vs. Reality (Lifetime, 10-11 p.m.) Debbie Reynolds hosts a report on PMS, menopause, birth control, and osteoporosis. Interviewees include Rep. Pat Schroeder (D-Col.) and Dr. Bernadine Healy, outgoing director of the National Institutes of Health.

29 Tuesday Sam Peckinpah: Man of Iron(A&E, 9-10 p.m.) The two-fisted director of The Wild Bunch and Straw Dogs is remembered by Jason Robards, James Coburn, and Kris Kristofferson.

30 Wednesday Bugs Bunny: All-American Hero (CBS, 8:30-9 p.m.) Schwarzkopf in Vietnam: A Soldier Returns (CBS, 10-11 p.m.) A pair of national icons: The wascally wabbit leads a tour of U.S. history from the Revolution to World War I; Stormin' Norman picks up the story in 'Nam, taking Dan Rather on a journey back to the battlefields.

1 Thursday The Broadcast Tapes of Dr. Peter (HBO, 8-9 p.m.) A Vancouver doctor documents his struggle with AIDS via a video diary that first aired on Canadian television in 1990.

2 Friday The Mary Tyler Moore Show (Nick at Nite, 10-11 p.m.) Ted (Ted Knight) and Georgette (Georgia Engel) cohost a happy-talk show; WJM cancels The Happy Homemaker, and Sue Ann (Betty White) cohosts a kiddie puppet show.

3 Saturday The Killer with 100 Daggers (Discovery, 8-9 p.m.) Cinematographer Werner Fend examines the dilemma of Sri Lankan Buddhist monks who are attacked by crocodiles but cannot retaliate due to their pacifist beliefs. Bummer!

4 Sunday A Capitol Fourth 1993 (PBS, check local listings) Mary-Chapin Carpenter, the Singing Sergeants of the U.S. Air Force, Rita Moreno, and Johnny and June / Carter Cash are among the performers scheduled for this Independence Day concert, live from Washington, D.C.

5 Monday Movie: 12:01 (Fox, 8-10 p.m.) Weekend at Bernie's' Jonathan Silverman, City Slickers' Helen Slater, and Mission: Impossible's Martin Landau are trapped in a sci-fi variation on Groundhog Day: A man keeps reliving the same 24 hours.

6 Tuesday Get Smart (Nick at Nite, 8-8:30 p.m.) Shades of Dave: Secret agent Maxwell Smart (Don Adams) stands in for an incapacitated look-alike king. Watch for a cameo by Johnny Carson.
