Vai Sex & Religion (Relativity) As you would expect from an ex-Frank Zappa sideman, guitar whiz Steve Vai never lets a good song stop him from showing off his chops, and he decorates this progressive metal melange with oodles of noodling. The album would have been a lot sexier and more righteous, however, if he'd trimmed this hour-long opus by a third. B- -TS
