Spike: Miles to Go

Films in the works -- ''Crooklyn,'' ''Nobody's Fool,'' and ''City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold'' are some titles currently in planning and production

Hoping: Jack Nicholson and Shirley MacLaine are looking to reprise their Terms of Endearment roles in a sequel to the 1983 tearjerker that snagged both of them Oscars... Discussing: Rumor has it that after Spike Lee finishes Crooklyn (now in production in New York), he'll shoot a Miles Davis bio with Wesley Snipes starring as the jazz legend... Planning: Paul Newman is scheduled to play a man picking up the pieces of his shattered life in Robert Benton's dramatic comedy, Nobody's Fool, expected to start production in November... Filming: Billy Crystal, Daniel Stern, and Jack Palance return in City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold, due Memorial Day in '94. Palance, who won his only Oscar as Curly, returns as the deceased character's twin brother.
