Sara Paretsky: What I'm reading
''For fun I'm reading Mary Oliver's New and Selected Poems. I also just finished Diane Middlebrook's biography of Anne Sexton. And now I'm reading a collection of essays about Anne Sexton, Telling the Tale, edited by Steven Colburn. I find it really fascinating that she was this disturbed person, and yet she was so prolific. I'm always tormenting myself about not writing, so I'm drawn to things that I hope will give me insight about it....For research, I'm also reading The Outlaw Bank, about the BCCI affair, by Jonathan Beaty and S.C. Gwynne. This is one of those books that gets you so shocked and angered you start making a list of politicians to send it to.''
