A STILL SMALL VOICE

Details Genre: Documentary

A STILL SMALL VOICE (1993, Atlas, $19.95) In the Old Testament, God speaks to the prophet Elijah in ''a still small voice'' about the blasphemous children of Israel. All of that in 60 minutes of interviews with clerics, theologians, and ordinary people who say they've had a profound religious experience (e.g., the magazine researcher who felt a oneness with the universe while lashed to a ship's mast during a violent ocean storm). Not quite the same as the Lord speaking to Elijah, but even video has its limitations. A-
