For one shining moment in hip-hop history (nicely recaptured on this album), Kool Moe Dee ruled. Armed with def rhymes and crackerjack rhythms, he rocked the rap world and tickled its funnybone, too (''God Made Me Funkee'' and ''How Ya Like Me Now''). Kinda makes you nostalgic for those days when hip-hop didn't have to be so durn serious.
