Randy Travis Wind in the Wire (Warner Bros./Warner Western) This is Travis playing cowboy, singing about memories of old Santa Fe and of ''Roamin' Wyomin''' for his TV special, which shares the album's name. The most controversial entry in the Warner Western series (the label's original creed was to include only performers who lived the real cowboy life), this album has no connection to true Western music other than to illustrate the fantasies it inspired, e.g., Roy Rogers and the campy '50s TV shows. Travis' easygoing style is always winning, but buy this for cartoon value only. C -AN
