Wise cracks Whoopi Goldberg, Paula Poundstone (1993, Monarch, unrated, $49.95) Sample: ''What does it mean when a girl has big feet?'' This sharply humorous documentary, featuring such woman comedians as Goldberg, Poundstone, Ellen DeGeneres, and Kim Wayans, intercuts onstage performances with backstage interviews about their feminine (and often feminist) approaches to the craft. Although the women are as articulate as they are amusing, in the end the film pulls too many punch lines. All but the most devoted students of comedy will wind up wishing for more stand-up routines and less sit-down analysis. No joke. B+ -Jill Rachlin
