The title, Teenage Bonnie and Klepto Clyde, says it all, more or less. At times the young hero's (unexplained) obsessiveness about leading a life of crime suggests the noir classic Gun Crazy retooled for shoplifting-except Gun Crazy was good. Young leads Wolf and Flannigan (as a police chief's daughter gone bad) are surprisingly appealing, but whatever goodwill they earn is spent by the end, when this pointless movie ineptly rips off the original Bonnie and Clyde's climactic massacre.
