In which B-movie siren and former porn star John Allen, here radically deglamourized, zips ahead of her onetime triple-X cohort Traci Lords in the Become a Legitimate Actress Sweepstakes. Actually, she gives a fine performance in Bound and Gagged: A Love Story as an abused housewife who's kidnapped by her self-involved lesbian lover (Saltarrelli). Writer-director Daniel Appleby has a knack for creating convincingly addled characters, but he's not as deft at wrenching laughs from their miserable lot, which is why this black comedy ultimately falls flat. C
