So this might be the time to note that Hammer's Too Legit to Quit remains a longtime, steady No. 3, even if Hammer himself has been eclipsed in the news by his nemesis, Michael Jackson. Also noteworthy are two groups without mass-market personas-Metallica, kings of metal, and Boyz II Men, sweet R&B harmonizers. They've quietly lodged themselves in the top 10 for weeks on end.
