In the dictionary next to the word desperation, there should be a picture of Sylvester Stallone signing the contract to star in Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, a low-concept disaster. He plays (what else?) a cop, and Estelle Getty is his fearless, overbearing pixie of a mom — a little-old-lady-from-Pasadena gag that wears out its welcome in five minutes. F
