Now is the winter of a chart watcher's discontent. The same four acts-Garth, Michael, Nirvana, and Garth-have been the top four for three weeks. Bo-o-o-o- oring! Even worse, the same 10 albums have been, with very little shuffling, the top 10 for the same three weeks. Even more bo-o-o-o-oring! Why, even the world-music chart is a bit of a snooze, with Mickey Hart sitting at No. 1 for 15 weeks now. Totally bo-o-o-o-ring Well, you get the point. Our best hope for a little excitement may be the ripple effect of last week's Grammys, which may boost a few of the have-nots into the upper limits, but not until next week at the earliest.
