The stunt paid off: Moments debuts in the top sales spot this week, bumping the previously unassailable Fantasia off its 16-week perch. The nominations didn't have much effect on the rental chart, though: Best Picture nominee The Silence of the Lambs (No. 32) continues to percolate downward, and with six weeks at No. 1, Thelma & Louise (starring Best Actress contenders Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis) can't get any higher.
