The Morning After

Glamorous and exhausted, Faye Dunaway in 1977 contemplated the Best Actress statuette she had won the previous night for her portrayal of a heartless TV programmer in Network. Asked by photographer Terry O'Neill (who would later become her second husband) to pose by the pool of the Beverly Hills Hotel at 6:30 a.m., she lounged in the bathrobe she wore in Chinatown. Looking back on the photo, Dunaway called it a ''shot that captures the essence of Hollywood.''
