Crosby, Stills & Nash: Acoustic 1991, a San Francisco acoustic concert (mislabeled; Stills plays electric lead quite often) finds CSN in surprisingly good form. True, their folkie harmonies aren't as lush as on disc, a point unfortunately driven home when they segue from the album version of ''To the Last Whale'' to live singing. But overall the performances are precise and unaffected, Crosby makes an avuncular front man as well as a standout singer, and the hi-fi soundtrack is thoroughly ear-friendly. As a matter of fact, considering there's no live CSN audio album at the moment, this might be an ideal purchase for fans who would buy the forthcoming CD reissue of ''Four Way Street'' if it weren't for the presence of that weird Neil Young person.
