Here's what Lollapalooza '92 is offering: lots of bands, lots of styles, a summit meeting of the various alternative-rock tribes. Isn't this just what pop music needs? Theme tours? Of course it does. And here are some of our favorite high concepts:

Yo! Onomatopoeia: Eek-A-Mouse, Wang Chung, Oingo Boingo, Wham!

Heart of Darkness: Tom Tom Club, Jungle Brothers, Kentucky HeadHunters, Wall of Voodoo, Fine Young Cannibals
