Troll II (1992)

Ever wonder how direct-to-video movies invariably beget sequels when almost no one has heard of the original? Troll II is a sequel in name only, sharing no more than its title with the 1986 Michael Moriarty-Sonny Bono picture. Taking off in its own entirely misguided direction, it tells the story of an average (not to mention lousy-acting) American family that vacations in a town infested with Marty Allen clones who cause folks to sweat green chlorophyll and turn into trees.
