Details Lead Performance: My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult

MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT Sexplosion! (Interscope) Thrill Kill Kult is all attitude. Its leather-and-tattoo obsessions permeate this techno-grunge record from its cover photo of cult pinup-model Betty Page to its campy song titles (''A Martini Built for 2,'' ''Princess of the Queens''). But in spite of its unrelenting-okay, repetitious-endorsements for kinky action, the Kult's intricate rhythms, cheesy keyboard riffs, and urbane suit-and-tie vocals keep the mood light. Sexplosion! turns underground sensibility into danceable, (almost) mainstream sense. This is strictly NC-17 material, kids; ''Leathersex,'' in particular, is not for the squeamish, but it's good clean fun for curious grown-ups. B+ -Arion Berger
