TriStar isn't shying away from releasing Woody Allen's painfully ironic film Husbands and Wives on Sept. 23, as scheduled. In it, Allen and Mia Farrow play a couple who break up over his infatuation with a much younger woman (Juliette Lewis)-a parallel story to the real-life romance between Allen, 56, and Soon- Yi Farrow Previn, 21. Soon-Yi is the adopted daughter of Farrow, with whom Allen is feuding. But Allen is shying away from the Husbands press tour, in which a source says he considered participating; the director ditched the idea shortly before the Soon-Yi story broke and the headlines began chronicling the melodrama. Not surprisingly, Farrow has reportedly dropped from the lineup for Manhattan Murder Mystery, Allen's next project.
