SHOOTING 'TSAR'

For the last 25 years, Edvard Radzinsky has been researching the execution of Tsar Nicholas II, the last of the Romanovs, in 1918. According to his evidence, and contrary to the official Soviet version of events, the execution was actually ordered by Lenin. Radzinsky's work of historical detection is filled with the material of good fiction-missing corpses, hidden jewels, spies, court intrigues-and appears this week at No. 6 on the nonfiction list.
